Here finally I finall bought Need for Speed Carbon for the Nintendo Wii. Let's compare between this wii game between the other non wii platforms. First you'll get the new scheme of motion sensor of the Wii-mote if you play on Wii. I will explain that this is like you're really driving.. you can control your car left or right by flipping the wii-mote to the left and flipping to right .. that's cool right? The one thing that I want to complain is that the frame rate of this wii game is low at the start race. Graphics in the Wii is good.. EA has done a good job with graphics and control, but unfortunately does not take advantage of the motion sensor for the title screen or choice menu. Need for Speed Carbon for the Nintendo Wii is one racing game you'll need to add to your collection!

Both the PlayStation 2 and Microsoft Xbox versions of Mortal Kombat: Armageddon featured online play, allowing gamers to battle it out against one another over the Internet. However, Midway has announced that the Wii version will not - and they blame Nintendo.
“Obviously we had online on other platforms so it wasn’t going to be a technology challenge for us,” said the game’s producer, Shaun Himmerick, to advancedmn.com. “Nintendo didn’t have their online system ready for us when we would have needed to implement it,” he continued.
Is no online mode the end of the world?
So it looks like Nintendo were holding back on the console’s online development tools for themselves, because Mortal Kombat: Armageddon is released after Nintendo’s own Mario Strikers Charged (available later on this month in Europe and at the beginning of June in North America). However, to alleviate some of the disappointed Wii owners are bound to have suffered, Himerick promised that the top-notch single player mode would make amends:
“That is a big reason we focused on giving the single player experience even more attention to perfect the new controls system, the addition of Endurance mode and an additional Kharacter.”
Mortal Kombat: Armageddon is the second Wii title in as many days that has lost its expected online functionality, following on from the news reported by GameDaily yesterday that Electronic Arts’ EA Playground will also lack console-to-console interaction.
Nintendo must’ve really been hogging onto those online development tools, eh?

Surf's Up is a surfing wii game set at the annual "Reggie Belafonte Big Z Memorial Surf Off." Players choose from one of 10 characters from the film "Surf's Up" to play as, including Cody, the young challenger from Shiverpool; Tank, the merciless champion; or Big Z, the surfing legend from the past. Only by mastering and understanding the waves can the player become not only the new champion, but a true surf legend.

While Shrek the Third is a simple game to play, it’s pretty hard to nail it down to a specific game type. Basically you wander around smashing enemies, boxes, crates, and other smashables. The only real objective is to make it to the end of the level. So on its most basic level, Shrek is an action adventure game. One of the better parts of the game is how it is split up between characters. You won’t always be playing as Shrek. You don’t get a choice of who to play as, the storyline dictates who you will be. Each of the characters (Shrek, Puss in Boots, Donkey, and Sleeping Beauty in my game so far) has their own set of moves, even though they all accomplish the same thing. It still makes it fun to have a change of pace from level to level. Each character also has their special attack and finishing moves. Shrek is the strongest of the bunch, and he can defeat enemies in a shorter amount of attacks. Puss in Boots is a lot faster with his attacks, but he needs to do more of them to beat an enemy. While the differences in characters are small, it’s still enough to keep things interesting.
I’d have to say that I was honestly impressed with the graphics in Shrek the Third. After being let down with Spider-Man 3’s visuals, Shrek the Third does an excellent job of looking nice while retaining the look/feel of the source material. All the character models look like the animated versions, even if these are a little lifeless at times. While facial expressions leave something to be desired, animations are great. Just like the GBA version, the Wii version has some great character animations. There are a few animations in the game that actually make me chuckle every time I see them (check out Shrek carrying anything). NPCs and enemies are less detailed, but are more than enough to get the job done. The levels are also pretty good looking. They have a very “Spyro” feel in my opinion. Shrek follows the same style of art design and architecture. As we were playing through I kept making notes on parts of the game that impressed me visually. Now keep in mind that this is a Wii title, so we aren’t talking 360/PS3 levels here. Having said that, Shrek the Third looks better than a majority of the current Wii library.
Controls, while not super innovative, work perfectly fine. Jumping, regular attacks, and blocking is handled by the Wiimote, while special attacks and picking up items is accomplished with the Nunchuck. You’ll be waggling your Wiimote to complete your basic attacks, just like in Twilight Princess. Waggling the Nunchuck will let your character charge up a strong attack. One you stop shaking, your character will unleash their attack. It’s a nice mix of controls that is easy enough for younger players while providing some basic uses for the motion sensing capabilities.
Shrek the Third is enough fun to continue through to the end of the game. Now I don’t expect any of you guys/girls out there to run out and pick this game up. Like I said, it is a “good” game, not great or fantastic. When you consider that it’s a movie based game, it gets a little more credit. It’s a shame that that’s the way I think, but we all know that movie games have set the standards extremely low. Regardless of that, I would still say that the game is good. I think the title is outstanding for younger children that are fans of Shrek, and are looking for a game version to enjoy. If you are a parent looking for the next Wii game for your kids, this should be the one. Trust me, when they are off to bed you should sit down and have a look at the game. I’ll bet that you will find it pretty fun too.

Well, heatseeker looked promising from the day it was announced, the graphics looked nice, gameplay looked FUN and the variety of planes was nice aswell, after buying this game i am glad all the stuff they said about it in previews ect. wasnt a load of ****.
GRAPHICS
- The aircraft designs are just amazing! they might not look like GoW, but for a Wii game, WOW...
- The detail in the sky is also very nice, nothings better than blowing up enemy fighter jets when the sun is rising :D
- Impact cam can sometimes get in the way, but it makes the game look and feel different, and is a worthy add-on.(you shouldnt crash after a Impact cam view, just keep you cursor centered on screen)
- Explosions are VERY nice, very varied.
- Unfortunatly, the land/island graphics...arent as good, a bit jagged in places and look similar in some levels...
- Ground based troops like tanks and buildings also look rather...rushed
SOUND
- The sound in this game is amazing, it has great sound effects, background music, explosions sound nice aswell.
- In impact cam, the explosions can sound a bit crap if its is FULL slow mo, apart from that its ok, as there isnt many full slo mo impact cam showings.
GAMEPLAY
- The single player game spans over 4 campagins, and lasts about 10-15 hours, on Rookie difficulty level, using the Arcade controls.
- Game can last alot longer as there are bonus objectives on EVERY level, and if you want to unlock the ULTIMATE WEAPON and the top secret jet (you will no it once u see it), you need to finish the game on every difficulty, (theres 3) and this may sound boring, but it isnt, rookie is very limited on combat, but try Pro, you have no mercy lol.
- Unfortunatly there is no multiplayer, this could have been one hell of a game if they had added it in.
OVERALL
With the dodgey land unit anf building graphics, and lack of multiplayer, this still is a great game that should definatly be considered for any Wii owner, im sure that many of you are looking for a game that actually has a story and not all these mini game based games :) (not that i dont luv wario ware and wii sports)
