All of the past TMNT Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles games have been forgettable to say the least, however, this new TMNT Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles release is surprisingly good, actually it’s great! All of the TMNT Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles games of the past have relied on just mashing buttons in order to take out goons, but this is something you won’t find in this game. Actually, it’s quite a minor game play element in this new game. Most of the game play revolves around navigating the turtles through massive, well designed levels, while using all sorts of actions to help you. The biggest difference between TMNT Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles for the Nintendo Wii and the past TMNT games of the current generation systems is polish. TMNT Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles wasn't rushed, and you can tell by playing. All the game play elements are creative and fresh. The graphics are good and the audio actually adds to the experience, unlike the past games. The weakest part of TMNT Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles is the combat. Don’t get me wrong, it isn't bad; it just isn’t the main focus of this wii game. If you are looking for an old fashioned arcade turtle’s style wii game just get wait till it’s released on the virtual console. BUT, if you are looking for a solid single player wii game OR just love the turtles, you won't regret buying TMNT Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles. This wii game obviously had good game designers on the set making sure this wasn't just another turtle’s game. Instead it's TMNT Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles.
