 Wing Island was released on 2007-03-23 by Konami. In Wing Island for the nintendo wii, players will use a guesture system with the wii controllers. Players will tilt their wii controllers horizontally to turn their airplane in Wing Island and vertically to move up or down. Double flick the wii controller to the side and perform barrel rolls in Wing Island! Wing Island also lets players fly either a single plane, or a squadron of planes, allowing many flight formations. There are many challenges throughout Wing Island such as balloon popping, fire fighting, cargo shipping, and more! There are many multiplayer mini-games you can enjoy with your friends when playing Wing Island. Enjoy your Wing Island flight!

In the Wii Game Wing Island, you get to control plane squadrons and formations, using the wii remote to change directions, perform maneuvers, and change speed. Wing Island's motion control is what we were looking forward to. Jerking the Wii remote to turn and boost in Wing Island unfortunately does not make you feel like a pilot. In Wing Island it feels more like your playing with a toy or paper airplane. One of the nice features of the wii game Wing Island is that there is a minigame involoving in flight balloon busting with or without a friend. This is probably the best part of the wii game. I'm sure the kids will love Wing Island for sure, but for the serious simulation flight gamer, you might want to rent this wii game before you buy it.
